“Green investments for a better world,” is the mission of Energy Crops Brazil. It offers agricultural eco-opportunities to investors around the world. One of its largest ventures is a 2,500 acre plantation in Brazil where Giant Carajas Grass is planted, harvested, converted into energy pellets and sold as an alternative to coal on the open market.
Energy Crops Brazil had created a 35-page report that explained its Giant Carajas Grass venture in great detail and with plenty of supporting data. This report was ideal for interested investors, but it wasn’t a lead-generating tool. The company principals realized they needed a website to produce leads for their sales staff. Furthermore, they knew the website had to be in English, not their native Portuguese, if they were to attract international investors.
Susan Greene, an American copywriter, was asked to provide content for the English website and to work with the principals in crafting additional marketing materials like data sheets, landing pages, direct mailers and brochures.
The website was launched along with an online advertising campaign.
