Since 2005, Houston Garage Doors has installed and serviced garage doors throughout the Greater Houston area. The owner wanted to grow his business by creating a new website that better communicated the company's capabilities.
Houston Garage Doors had a small, existing website but it was outdated and didn’t effectively present the company’s services and high level of expertise.
The company needed to let prospective customers know its garage technicians were available 24/7, 365 days a year. This would help Houston Garage Doors acquire emergency customers who needed a quick door repair or replacement and didn’t have time to shop around or wait for shipping.
Houston Garage Doors also wanted customers to know that its technicians were garage door specialists with a great deal of training and experience. The Houston market is extremely competitive, and the best way to stand out from the many general repair services and construction companies was to beef up their profile as industry experts.
Susan Greene worked with Yosi Nuri, business owner, to design and write a website that effectively described Houston Garage Doors’ expertise. They also created individual pages for each of the company’s main services – garage door repairs, garage door openers, garage emergency services, etc. – to highlight its comprehensive capabilities.
The additional pages combined with high quality content improved the website’s ranking on search engines for garage-related keywords. The new ranking led to an immediate increase in web traffic and inquiries to the company. The content also did a far more effective job than the previous website in converting visitors into customers.
English is not my first language, and I didn’t know how to approach writing the copy for my new website.
