With over 3,000 installations to its name, this niche IT company specializes in point-of-sale (POS) solutions for all types of restaurants. A POS system is the technological heart of a restaurant, able to take menu orders, accept payments, report sales, track inventory and more.

Established in 1983, Cloudpoint Hospitality had a website that was more than a decade old. The old website didn’t reflect the company’s leadership position in the Florida market nor the full breadth of its products and services. The business had been built solely on referrals with no reliance on online marketing.
Additionally, the owners had recently changed the name of the company from Micros of Central Florida to Cloudpoint Hospitality. They knew they needed to start from scratch in creating a new online image.
Cloudpoint Hospitality looked to Highforge, an Orlando-based marketing firm, to assist with branding and to create a new website for the firm. Highforge in turn brought Susan Greene onto the development team to write the website copy.
Susan interviewed Cloudpoint Hospitality management to learn about the technology the company offered and to understand the many potential benefits that technology provided to its clients, which included hundreds of Central Florida restaurants, nightclubs, bars, hotels and resorts.
The new website was well-received by Cloudpoint Hospitality staff and customers. The sales people were especially pleased. They finally had an effective marketing tool that could generate leads and help them convert prospects they were pitching into buyers.
