Exceptional Care, which provides in-home care for seniors, was seeking a way to stand out from its competitors. The company’s owners had also recognized that its prospective clients often had little knowledge about home healthcare and what services were available. They often spent time educating seniors and their family about the subject.
Exceptional Care decided to produce an ebook that would answer questions about in-home care and offer solutions that would allow seniors to age in place while also giving their family members peace of mind.
They hired Susan Greene to write an ebook on the subject. Susan researched the subject matter and put together a proposed table of content, which the client approved. The final book had 23 pages and provided actionable information on home-care options, insurance coverage and other relevant topics.
Although the book was educational with no hard sell, it succeeded in engaging with prospects and ultimately prompted them to contact Exceptional Care to learn more about its services.
Below is a short sample page from the ebook. A copy of the full ebook can be sent to you upon request.
The book was so well-received that Exceptional Care then hired Susan Greene to write a second book.
The second ebook provided advice on how to safely transition seniors who’d been hospitalized back to their home to continue their recovery. That book was as successful as the first in helping Exceptional Care market its services with a low-key, educational approach. The owners of Exceptional Care say they intend to hire Susan Greene for more ebooks in the near future.
This [ebook] turned out GREAT! Thank you for doing such a fantastic job!
