QPOS (Qualification Program for Overseas Students) is a 6 to 12 month program that prepares international students to attend a U.S. university. It helps them complete all prerequisites and entrance exams, qualify for scholarships, and improve their English speaking and writing skills.
Muse Group is a marketing company based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. When the firm was contracted to create a website in English for the QPOS program, the project managers knew they needed a native English speaker to write the copy.
Susan Greene was brought in to write the copy for the website, approximately 20 pages. The objective was to convey to international students the difficulty they’d have succeeding in a U.S. university without the proper training. QPOS was presented as the best way to prepare and excel in their studies.
Investing 6 to 12 months in the QPOS program in Malaysia before heading to the U.S. would provide them with the educational background, study skills and English proficiency to thrive at an American university.
The QPOS website was launched and multi-media advertising was used to drive targeted traffic to it. Almost immediately, the site began generating leads, which the QPOS sales team would then pursue.
Demand was high for the type of services QPOS provides. Attracting customers was just a matter of getting the word out.
Because the web copy performed well, Muse Group contracted Susan Greene to also write brochures and various other marketing materials for the QPOS program.
