Neo Moving was a newly launched moving company serving residential and commercial clients located in Seattle, Lynnwood and Redmond, Washington.

That area already had several large movers, including some national brands with name recognition. Going up against those legacy companies meant Neo Moving had to look extremely professional and equally well-established in its marketing. 

Solution

The owner of Neo Moving, Charley Bowling, hired Thrive Design to create a professional quality website. Thrive brought in Susan Greene, a transportation copywriter with experience writing for other moving, shipping and freight forwarding companies, to craft the copy and handle SEO.

Susan interviewed Charley about what made the company unique. She went beyond stating its services to describe the corporate philosophy and also Charley’s very personal reasons for founding Neo Moving.

It also helped that Neo Moving, although a new moving company, already had numerous positive customer reviews on Yelp and Google, some of which Susan was able to incorporate into the website to help with conversions, getting prospects who land on the site to request a quote.

Results

The copy Susan wrote differentiated Neo Moving from the other local movers in the Greater Seattle area. The web pages and blog posts she created were written using SEO best practices, which helped Neo Moving begin climbing in Google ranking.
